The Administrator's office handles general county administration and Land Use Administration. We deal with the following applications:

• those submitted to the Planning & Zoning Commission
• those submitted to the Board of Adjustment
• Building Permits
• Septic Permits
• Road Access Permits

The Administrator's office also manages the Mineral County Airport and the new Amethyst addition to the Mineral County Cemetery.

Board of Adjustment (3 year term)

The Board of Adjustment is authorized to grant variances from the strict application of the Mineral County Zoning Regulations. Applicants must prove a hardship or practical difficulty to the BOA, explaining why their proposed construction cannot be done within the requirements of the Zoning Regulations. The BOA also is authorized to hear appeals from determinations or requirements in the enforcement of the Zoning Regulations.
